Brian Rice

Brian Rice began his career in the futures industry in 1994 as an order clerk for First American Corp.
in Chicago. His enthusiasm for the futures business was tremendous and instantaneous. After two
years of exposure to futures and options of every stripe and nationality, Brian determined to direct
his focus toward the Agricultural Markets. He earned his Series 3 license in 1996
and took a brokerage position with Iowa Grain Company, a Futures Commission Merchant at the Chicago Board of
Trade. During his tenure at the firm, Brian was commissioned by producers, commercial entities, money managers,
and independent traders. Being aligned with an agricultural firm, Brian studied the inner workings of these
markets (including the emerging Dairy Complex), and the brokerage firms that service them. Anticipating
a steady growth in the milk market, in 2002, Brian started his own business on the floor of the Chicago
Mercantile Exchange. Since beginning his venture, Mr. Rice has gained acknowledgement from industry peers
and colleagues. He has been published in numerous Dairy and Futures industry publications, as well as having been asked
to be a speaker for private groups.
